Who am I? My name is Juan Carlos Vazquez and I was born in Mexico City in 1984. At the age of five I moved to the United States along with my parents to a small town in California. I consider photography an art and my passion for art started when I was in elementary school. It wasn’t until my high school years when I was introduced into the wonders of film photography and later to the world of digital photography. My college years marked me as a freelance photographer and eventually as a wedding photographer.

 

I enjoy shooting weddings and quinceañeras. Having the privilege of capturing that special day means a lot to me. It's a lot of responsibility and that's why I take a lot of pride on my work. Not only do I shoot all my pictures but I edit them as well. I love natural light but when I get a chance I use flash to control light and capture a more dramatic image.
